WITHERED GARDEN (FINLAND)

Tampere Death Metal act WITHERED GARDEN was formulated during 1995 by vocalist Ipe and guitarist Teemu Raunio. The band issued a  studio session, 'Watcher In The Nightsky' in 1997. Signing to Dark Moon Records WITHERED GARDEN's commercial inauguration came in 1998 with an EP release 'Exhausted Eden' recorded at Rantajatkat Studios. The band cut tracks for an intended 2001 album, to be called 'Heaven Raped', but this was shelved as the band went into hiatus. Ipe, Raunio and drummer Ruha resurfaced under the revised billing of SIGHTLESS. WITHERED GARDEN folded in spring 2004.
